INQ today confirmed plans to go jump into the smartphone market. Smartphone from INQ named Cloud Touch now use Android in it and is designed to put up on the front of the OS. Although not a hp up officially, but this phone chat puts social networking, contacts, events, announcements, places and news feeds in the future through widgets and shortcuts.
The phone also replaces the Android media player for Spotify and by extension gives users unlimited music listening, although need to subscribe to it. Many operators offer Cloud Touch with Spotify Premium in the service plan.
INQ target more to the same market as LG mobile phone or BlackBerry Curve Optimus V and use the 600MHz Qualcomm chips. As with Korean competitors, though, INQ plans to use Android Touch Cloud 2.3 for this. Variant of Touch Cloud, Cloud Q, will bring a QWERTY keyboard with the same specifications.
Touch Cloud will be marketed first in Europe to target the UK in April, probably on December 3, and will reach other countries later. Not yet known is the price of mobile phone Touch Cloud.
